VOLUNTEER PROJECT
The Volunteer Project was launched in 2024, involving young people aged 18 to 26 in a two-week stay at Busajo Campus. Participants experience the daily life of street children and youth, supporting them with their studies and recreational activities, sharing meals, games, and fun.
HOW TO APPLY
Simply submit your CV and attend an introductory interview. No special skills are required; what matters is the spirit you embark with: we are looking for volunteers with an open heart, respect, the ability to listen, and humility, ready to get involved. Knowledge of English is recommended.
PREPARATORY MEETINGS
Before departure, volunteers participate in three training sessions in Florence. These are crucial moments to know each other, to get ready for the experience, to learn about the Ethiopian culture, and to plan activities to do with the children.

Experiencing the Campus is an opportunity to create authentic bonds, experience intense emotions, strengthen collaboration and solidarity, grow together, be amazed by what can be achieved, and transform every emotion into awareness.
COME FUNZIONA
Vivere il Campus significa partecipare attivamente alle attività quotidiane:
– al mattino lavori manuali e cura degli spazi
– al pomeriggio animazione e giochi con i bambini
Un responsabile accompagna il gruppo per tutta la durata dell’esperienza, guidando i volontari e aiutandoli a trasformare ogni emozione in consapevolezza.
COME CANDIDARSI
Il progetto è rivolto ai giovani tra i 18 e i 26 anni.
Per candidarsi basta inviare un breve CV e sostenere un colloquio conoscitivo.
Non servono competenze particolari: conta lo spirito con cui si parte. Apertura, voglia di ascoltare, rispetto delle regole e desiderio di mettersi in gioco.
INCONTRI
Prima della partenza i volontari partecipano a tre incontri formativi a Firenze.
Sono momenti fondamentali per conoscersi e prepararsi all’esperienza. Durante gli incontri i volontari potranno conoscere meglio la realtà di Busajo, approfondire la cultura etiope, programmare le attività da svolgere con i bambini e ricevere tutte le informazioni pratiche.
